Floor expansion joint covers have been designed to be used in exterior and interior applications and offer horizontal and lateral shear movements at large openings. They can be used with several types of finishes like marble, granite, ceramic for example having varied thicknesses. During the seismic contractions, they have a specially designed pop-up mechanism that ascends the center plate without damaging the finish which is placed on it and gets back to the origin after the activity is over.
