So from us, you can get not only the common grating of conventional shape but also products designed to adjust to the shape and the design and more diverse construction requirements.

Gratings are a framework of parallel or crossed bars, typically used as a partition, guard and cover, over an opening or gully, thereby preventing access through the opening while permitting communication or ventilation. Ductile Iron Gratings are fast replacing the conventional 'Grey Iron Gratings on account of uniqueness in its Strength to Weight ratio, Design, Weight and Cost-benefit. The strength of the Ductile Iron gratings comes from its manufacturing process, where they are poured as a single unit, without the requirement of secondary joins.

We offer gratings for Residential, Commercial, Industrial, Roads and Infrastructure applications. All our Gratings are manufactured as per BS EN 124and are approved by the local authorities.

Gratings can be divided into the following classes:

• A15 (Capable of withstanding a 1.5-ton test load):- Pedestrians and Pedal Cyclist.
• B125 (Capable of withstanding a 12.5-ton test load):- Car parks and pedestrian areas manhole covers where only occasional vehicular access is likely.
• C250 (Capable of withstanding a 25-ton test load):- Car parks, forecourts, areas with slow-moving traffic.
• D400 (Capable of withstanding a 40-ton test load):- Car and Lorries have access, including carriageways, hard shoulders and pedestrian areas.
• E600 (Capable of withstanding a 60-ton test load):- Loading areas, Docks, etc.
• F900 (Capable of withstanding a 90-ton test load):- Aircraft pavements.

The unique form of iron, Ductile Iron that prior to the metal casting process can receive crucial mineral additives for producing a very strong resistance and durable metal, the molecular structure of the Ductile Iron boosts the rise to excellent additional shock load resistance and strength within the structure of carbon steel without the inheriting steel corrosion. In modern-day roads, the gratings and covers are needed for carrying the increasingly heavy and fast-moving traffic. Yet the requirement for keeping the roads in services makes it free from thefts, accidents, additional demands on those gratings and covers in terms of ease and speed of access for essential service maintenance.
