The Kuwait International Airport gets a new terminal that is developed in phases. The new state-of-the-art terminal in its first phase has added a capacity of 13 million passengers a year while the subsequent phases shall further boost the capacity between 25 million to 50 million passengers per year.
With the aim to deliver the highest level of passenger comfort, the new terminal is set to improve the airport’s status as the gateway to the State of Kuwait. The design of the terminal has been inspired by the local arts and architecture while the construction materials are expertly chosen to be responsive to the climate.
