Soleris System Microbiology Lab Solutions

Description

Quality Soleris system for detecting microbial contamination through classic microbiology’s innovative application. The instrument measures microbial growth by recording pH level and other biochemical reactions that cause a color change in the broth as microorganisms grow and metabolize nutrients. The system continuously monitors results by providing accurate information.

Advanced Soleris technology tracks changes in the chemical properties of microbial liquid growth medium and detects microorganisms with pH and other sensitive reagents. When the metabolic process takes place the reagents change their spectral patterns. An optical device photo metrically detects these developments and tracks it at prearranged time.

Devices record changes in color expressed as optical units which are sensed by the optical sensors and stored in the computer. One can use sample volumes of up to 5 mL. You can use various dyes, which are pointer to various metabolic activities.

How Soleris System works?

As the system is based on superior technology, you can utilize it together with mop up, sponges and filters to do various analyses. Soleris’ advantage over other systems is that it measures presence of specific groups of bacteria, indicating problems quickly.

Latest Soleris System is very sensitive and can detect changes in chemical properties in a small time fraction than what is needed in traditional methods. High quality Soleris System consists of incubator, ready-to-use vials, and system software. It can quickly, repeatedly, and accurately detect many microorganisms for different samples like food, dairy, beverages, and personal care products.

Superior systems make samples give results, and results give facts. Equipped with optical technology and Soleris vial, you can get there quickly with less effort. The specialty of the Soleris system is its ready-to-use vial. Dutco Tennant LLC is a leading Soleris system supplier for automated microbial identification solutions in the Middle East and GCC. We have supplied such products to countries like Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, U.A.E., and others. Email us or call us for such products in this area.

The Soleris technology monitors changes in the chemical characteristics of microbial liquid growth medium and detects microorganisms with pH and other sensitive reagents. The reagents change their spectral patterns as the metabolic process takes place. These changes are detected photometrically by an optical instrument and monitored at predetermined time intervals.

The key to the technology is the monitoring of these changes in a semifluid zone of the patented organism-specific vial (see right). This zone is separated from the liquid medium, thereby eliminating the masking of the optical pathway by the product, or microbial turbidity. Changes in color, expressed as optical units, are sensed by the optical sensor and recorded in the computer. Sample volumes of up to 5 mL can be used. Various dyes, which are indicators of metabolic activity (e.g., pH, redox, CO2 production and enzymatic activity), can be utilized in the system.

Because of its design, the system can be utilized in conjunction with swabs, sponges and filters to assess the levels of various groups of organisms as a critical control point on equipment, floors, and the environment. Soleris’ advantage over ATP is that it measures presence of specific groups of bacteria, indicating problems in a rapid manner.
