Wastewater treatment is a process that is used for converting the water that is no longer needed or suitable for its most recent use into an effluent that can be either returned to the water cycle with minimal environmental issues or reused. The latter is known as water reclamation and implies avoidance of disposal by the use of treated wastewater effluent for various purposes. Dutco Tennant LLC is not just a leading supplier of various industrial and engineering products but from them, you will also be able to get complete solutions providers for the Middle East and GCC region. The huge infrastructure growth in the Middle East and GCC has created a big demand for wastewater products.

Screenings removed by sieves or fine screens contain water and their volume is swollen. Our supplied Screening Presses are designed as a solution to this problem which reduces the weight and volume of your screenings. Screenings Washing and Dewatering Press uses a conveyor screw for processing raw wastewater screenings, conveying, washing out fecal matter and dewatering screenings for reducing discharge volume and liquid content. The screened particles contain high amounts of water. Our supplied units can dewater screenings up to 70% dryness by dewatering the screened materials. The reduction in weight and volume enables ease of handling and decreasing transportation costs. The screening presses supplied by Dutco Tennant LLC are furnished with compacting screws of high wearing resistant, heavy-duty bearings and reducers. The maintenance cost of the units is very low because of the simple and robust design. The dewatering part of the compactor can be perforated steel or V-weir mesh type depending on the type and size of the particle present in the wastewater. The screening presses can be operated either by the signal which will be sent from the screen control panel or by means of a sensor that will be installed in the loading box. The overload protection can be maintained via a mechanical torque limiter. They can also be manufactured with a washing system that allows reducing organic matter in the waste. Wastewater from the washing or compacting process can be discharged to the screen channel. The washed and compacted screenings are finally transported through the conical discharge pipe into a skip. The screening presses are mostly made up of frame, screw, screen, hopper, drive unit and discharge pipe.
