A comprehensive range of transducers and vacuum gauges, including thermocouples, Pirani, Bayard Alpert, and cold cathode.

ConvecTorr Gauge Tube

The Agilent ConvecTorr gauge tube has high levels of accuracy and is ideal for rapid, repetitive pumpdowns from atmospheric pressure. This robust, cost-effective thermal vacuum gauge offers continuous and repeatable pressure measurements at temperatures from 0°C to 50°C. The tube has been optimized for convection cooling, resulting in superior readings at higher pressures.

The ConvecTorr gauge simulator provides a way to calibrate and set the zero setting on a ConvecTorr gauge controller. It may be set to simulate either 1 atmosphere or 10-4 Torr. The ConvecTorr gauge is ideally suited for demanding vacuum applications such as load lock or control of a two stage pumpdown.

531 Thermocouple

The Agilent 531 Thermocouple gauge tube is ideally suited to your rough vacuum applications. It measures total pressures in the 1 x 10-3 to 2 Torr absolute range (1.3 x 10-3 to 2.7 mbar). The 531 TC gauge exhibits rapid response to pressure changes and is unaffected by mounting orientation.

536 Thermocouple

The Agilent 536 Thermocouple gauge is ideally suited to your rough vacuum applications. The gauge measures total pressures in the 1 x 10-3 to 760 Torr (ATM) absolute range (1.3 x 10-3 to 1013 mbar). The tube body is made out of 304 Stainless Steel and has a Platinel filament. This TC gauge has a baffle to extend the sensor life in the presence of condensable gases and improves performance at higher pressures.

Meanwhile, the thermocouple gauge simulator provides a way of calibrating and adjusting the zero setting on a thermocouple gauge controller. Set it to simulate either 760 Torr (atmosphere) or 10-4 Torr.

TC and ConvecTorr Gauge Simulators

Discover the Agilent TC gauge and ConvecTorr simulators. These gauge calibration tools are designed to conveniently verify proper operation of the control unit. These tools are used to ensure that the control unit is calibrated to the average tube using the selectable 'Vac' (less than 10-4 Torr) or 'ATM' (760 Torr) setting.

563 Bayard-Alpert Gauge Tube

The rugged 563 Bayard-Alpert ionization gauge tube offers superior performance over a pressure range of 2 x 10-10 to 1 x 10-3 Torr (2.7 x 10-10 to 1.33 x 10-3 mbar). The inside of this hot filament ion gauge's glass body is platinum-coated. This coating shields the gauge elements from electrostatic charge at low pressures while draining off the static charge that can build up at high pressure. Multiple fittings are available.

A reference gauge tube is also available, sealed off at ≤ 5 x 10-6 Torr for use in testing a gauge controller.

571 Bayard-Alpert Gauge Tube

The Agilent 571 Bayard-Alpert gauge offers high performance over a pressure range of 2 x 10-10 to 1 x 10-3 Torr (2.6 x 10-10 to 1.33 x 10-3 mbar). The 571 gauge withstands long periods of degassing or accidental exposure to atmospheric pressure while at operating temperature and will still recover its original characteristics. A reference gauge is also available, sealed off at ≤ 5 x 10-6 Torr for use in testing a gauge controller.

572 Bayard-Alpert Gauge Tube

The 572 Bayard-Alpert Gauge hot-cathode ionization gauge tube is a high-performance, high vacuum gauge with a wide range of linear response from 2 x 10-10 to 1 x 10-3 Torr (2.7 x 10-10 to 1 x 10-3 mbar). It is designed to withstand long periods of outgassing, and to facilitate simple external switching of filaments without disturbing the vacuum system. The 572 is compatible with virtually all modern hot filament ionization gauge controllers.

MBA2-200 Hot Filament Gauge

The MBA2-200 hot filament gauge is the smallest Bayard-Alpert ionization gauge (less than 5% of the volume of a glass gauge). This gauge has an all-metal design that eliminates the possibility of breakage. It generates low heat and provides good burnout resistance.

The MBA2-200’s unique dual ion collectors provide measurement up to 5 x 10-2 Torr (6.7 x 10-2 mbar) and it has an X-ray limit equivalent to a glass gauge (3 x 10-10 Torr, 4 x 10-10 mbar). Dual, burn-out resistant, yttria-coated iridium filaments provide long life, and help avoid unscheduled downtime. In addition, the gauge requires only 8% of the power of a glass gauge.

IMG-100 Inverted Magnetron Gauge

The Agilent IMG-100 Inverted-Magnetron gauge tubes produce accurate, repeatable pressure readings and may be used in dirty or corrosive applications. Their measurement performance is similar to Bayard-Alpert gauges, but like cold-cathode gauges they are easy to clean and repair, without the limitations that most cold-cathode gauges have.

The Agilent IMG-100 can measure pressures in a range comparable to most glass hot-filament gauges. This passive high vacuum gauge is perfect for use in vacuum furnaces and other industrial systems, where ruggedness is of prime importance.
