Flanged Flexible Connectors Plumbing Products

Made up of high-quality NBR or EPDM rubber, the single sphere flanged flexible connectors are designed to accommodate required system movements conforming to ISO7005-1 / EN1092-1 (PN10 / PN16). For connecting equipment and pipes, these systems are used where flanged ends are preferred. They are recommended for reducing motion, thermal growth, vibration, misalignment, pressure stress, and noise within piping systems. They are suitable for fluids such as water, oil, and gas, depending on the rubber material selected.

The flanged flexible connectors are available as rubber expansion joints with a reinforced single-bellow construction. These are built specifically for absorbing compression, extension, lateral movement, and vibration in piping systems. These are not corrugated stainless steel braided hose assemblies but molded rubber bellows designed for expansion control. The galvanized carbon steel flanges ensure secure installation within PN10 or PN16 piping systems.

These expansion joints are widely used in pump installations and piping systems where vibration absorption and movement compensation are critical. Their primary function is to provide flexibility within the piping system, absorb pump vibration, reduce transmitted noise, and compensate for thermal expansion and minor misalignments. The rubber construction supports effective vibration isolation while maintaining system integrity within the specified temperature range of -20°C to +80°C.
