This assembly unit is designed to prevent reverse flow of contaminated or polluted water from entering into the potable water supply systems that is caused due to backpressure or backsiphonage. Manufactured in bronze body construction or FA approved epoxy coated cast iron.
The assembly consists of two in-line independent check valves, replaceable check seats with an intermediate relief valve, and ball valve test cocks. The Series 009 is suitable for safeguarding cross-connections causing health hazards or containing at the service line entrance.
Reduced Pressure Zone Assembly Backflow Preventers are ideal for installation at all cross- connections subject to backsiphonage or backpressure where there is a potential health hazard.
