Hydrocyclone or sand separators are centrifugal filters which are used conventionally for removing particles like sand and other solids from the irrigation water. They are ideally suited for situations where a pile of sand is present in water. The units are mounted in a vertical way. The water will enter via the tangential inlet and produce a downward spinning movement. The sediments are pressed against the body of the filter by centrifugal force. The sediments will accumulate at the bottom of the filter. For flushing out the accumulated sediments, a drain valve is put into the bottom of the unit or the collection manifold. We supply Hydrocyclone which has been designed for filtering out sand from the water before the irrigation process begins. They are made up of reinforced engineering plastics for being highly durable and are designed hydro dynamically for creating maximum centrifugal action.
