Fiberglass reinforced plastic grating (also known as FRP grating, glass reinforced plastic grating or fiber grating) is a composite material manufactured by combining a matrix of resin and fiberglass. Unlike metal and wood, FRP products will not rust or corrode and will continue to maintain structural integrity over time which in turn lowers maintenance cost. We offer gratings which are made of FRP using high quality materials. They are tested as per BSEN 124, IS 1726 & AASHTO M306 standards for drainage and utility services. They meet all the requirements of the code. The fire resistance is tested in accordance to ASTME-84 tunnel test method. We offer F.R.P. Grating of various sizes ranging from Width of 43mm-1221mm and Length of 43mm-3660mm. Our largest available Grating size is 1121mm X 3660mm.
The versatility of fiberglass gratings makes them suitable for a wide range of industrial and infrastructure applications where long-term performance and safety are essential. Available in multiple mesh configurations and load ratings, FRP grating panels provide reliable support for pedestrian walkways, access platforms, trench covers, and equipment maintenance areas. Their lightweight construction simplifies transportation and installation while reducing the need for heavy lifting equipment.
Designed to withstand exposure to chemicals, moisture, and harsh environmental conditions, these grating systems offer an ideal alternative to conventional metallic products. The non-conductive and slip-resistant surface characteristics enhance workplace safety, making them well suited for use in water treatment plants, marine facilities, power stations, and manufacturing units. FRP floor gratings are also widely used in elevated walkways and platform structures where corrosion resistance and low lifecycle costs are critical requirements.
In addition to their structural performance, the gratings are available in various panel sizes and thicknesses to accommodate diverse project specifications. Their modular design allows easy customization and replacement, enabling engineers and contractors to develop efficient walkway gratings and platform gratings that deliver durability, reduced maintenance, and dependable service over an extended operational life.
