Channel Sales Engineer

We are looking for energetic and promising candidate for the following role.

Role: Channel Sales Engineer

Responsibilities

  • Achieve or exceed the agreed sales and margin targets within given timeframes
  • Business development – understanding of the Qatar market requirements, conducting market research for projects:
  • Research, investigate and identify any potential new business opportunity in relation to existing and new product opportunity.
  • Collect information about competitive prices of different products in the market and sell products within a price range at prices that are acceptable to customers, in order to achieve the gross profit targets.
  • Meet 5-6 consultants visit in a month
  • Regular interfacing and working with System Integrators, Consultants and end users to demonstrate the Value-added benefits and ensuring that the products are included with the Particular Project Specification
  • To sell in a consultative manner and be seen as the customer’s trusted advisor
  • Plan, organize and participate road shows, sales team meetings, conferences, presentations and customer training to support business activity.
  • Build strong connection with target audience like IT, security, AV, ELV, SI partners
  • Update on a regular basis information about competitor activity and changes in market requirements
  • Reports on a regular basis (weekly and monthly) progress toward sales plans objectives

Qualifications:

Electronics Engineer

Knowledge and Skills:

  • At least 2-3 years Project Sales experience in Qatar.
  • Knowledge of the ELV System
  • AV/ICT/ELV Background
  • Strong communication skills in all forms, including written, oral, e-mail and presentation
  • Strong track record with delivering growth in both sales and profitability
  • Technical aptitude and strong interpersonal skills to interact with all levels
  • Ability to work in an independent manner in planning activities, making decisions, and supporting customers
  • Ability to establish and maintain strong relationships with consultants and system integrators
  • Strong market analysis capabilities. Able to understand market drivers, uncover customer needs, and estimate financial opportunity
  • Working knowledge of Salesforce
  • Arabic speaking will be preferred but not essential
  • Valid Driving License is a must

Salary: 6000QAR – 8000QAR + Commission + Benefits (Visa +Insurance +Paid Leaves+ Airfare)
