Meet national and international standards with Geosynthetic clay liner

Innovative Geosynthetic clay liner can be used as a waterproofing barrier. This clay liner is self-attaching and self-sealing to concrete or other construction substances. Made of a non-woven geotextile and a polypropylene sheet, these products are available in the Middle East and GCC. You can use this product to avoid slippage and the build-up of bentonite as a consequence of cuts, tears, and movements. Its performance can meet and even exceed various national and international standards.

Geosynthetics is an important business unit of Dutco Tennant LLC which is a leading supplier of Geosynthetic clay liners for decades. We offer a complete range in engineered environmental liner systems for roads and utilities. Apart from providing good quality products, we provide unmatched engineering support.

Features of Geosynthetic clay liners

Geosynthetic clay liner in our stock has been manufactured by using two contrasting material such as polymeric materials and natural soils. Additionally, our range is used in rolls of fabricated thin layers of bentonite clay. Plus, they are far and wide appreciated by our clients for their competence and tensile strength. Quality liner available in various specifications as required by the clients is available with us. Furthermore, we offer this Geo synthetic clay liner at very competitive prices.

Properties of Geosynthetic clay liners

Geosynthetic clay liners (GCLs) are thin, factory manufactured (prefabricated), hydraulic barriers (liners) that comprise primarily a processed clay, typically either natural sodium bentonite or sodium-activated calcium bentonite, encased or “sandwiched” between two geotextiles or attached to a single polymer membrane (e.g., polyethylene geomembrane or geofilm) and held together by needle-punching, stitching, and/or gluing with an adhesive.  The hydraulic resistance of GCLs that do not include a polymer membrane is attributed entirely to the bentonite component of the GCL, which swells in the presence of water to form a tight sealing layer. The manufactured GCL panels are transported to the site in rolls and installed simply by unrolling and overlapping adjacent GCL panels to provide a continuous barrier for hydraulic and/or chemical containment. In some cases, a thin bead of dry bentonite may be required between the overlapped GCL panels to insure a tight seal. The GCL panels also can be readily cut with a sharp blade (e.g., knife) to adapt placement of the GCL panels to irregular patterns or geometries.
