Metrotile is partnering with BIPVco to deliver an integrated solar roof tile that utilises the iPanel profile, in addition to providing a retrofit system, presenting a roof solution that is visually impressive and effortless to design and install - all while delivering superior ongoing performance.
The flexibility and robustness of BIPV’s lightweight Flextron technology allows the Metrotile iPanel Roof system to be embedded and pre-bonded in the factory setting. No tricky and costly transportation of heavy glass modules, extra structural support requirements or a technically demanding on-site install required. While the aesthetically stunning iPanel system is undemanding in the setup phase, it also provides superior energy-generating performance compared to traditional glass modules due to BIPVco’s Flextron technology.
