Pool Acid can come in the form of solid or liquid acid. In UAE, the chemical sodium bisulfate is commonly used as solid pool acid added to the pool for reducing pH. It is a dry acid in crystal, granular, or powder form that is used as a pH adjuster, herbicide, fungicide, micro biocide (a product that kills microbes) in a wide range of industries, like residential cleaning and swimming pool maintenance. Pool Acid can also come in form of liquid acid (muriatic acid) but it is not common in UAE especially since the safer option is sodium bisulfate (pool acid) since it comes in solid form which makes it easier to transport and safer for the end-users.
