Senior Sales Engineer /Executive – Pumps

The Senior Sales Engineer will be responsible selling/ promotingentire pumps product range of Dutco Tennant inWater treatment vertical.

Segment:Water and wastewater/ Commercial Business Segment. Residential Business Segment/ Industries/Fire Fighting/ Renewable Energy/ Dewatering/ Oil &Gas/ Utilities

The primary focus will be establishing and maintaining a strong Customer base for various product range above mentioned segment’s.


  1. Achieve or exceed the agreed sales and margin targets within given timeframes.
  2. To follow all process compliance required by the company like CRM Sales force, ERP system and other data entry requirements.
  3. Business development – understanding of the UAE key market requirements, Projects, and Tenders.
  4. Well versed with the Prequalification procedure with Major companies and Utilities.
  5. Identify the new products and potential vendors to include in product portfolio to enhance project package supply.
  6. Identify and ensure efficient marketing activities, value proposition to end user, consultants, contractors, and prospective customers.
  7. Leading and assisting with Customer visits and meetings, information gathering, tender submissions and follow-up meetings to secure orders.
  8. Prepare & deliver the technical presentations of products.
  9. Ensure compliance with all applicable standards.
  10. Plan, organize and participate sales team meetings or conferences, presentations, and customer training to support business activity.
  11. Update on a regular basis information about competitor activity and changes in market requirements.
  12. Reports on a regular basis (weekly and monthly) progress toward sales plans objectives.

Skills and Qualifications

  1. Graduate Mechanical Engineer/ Diploma Holder in Mechanical Engineeringwith minimum five years of experience, knowledge of Pump Industries.
  2. Must be a current resident in UAE.
  3. Excellent verbal and communication skills.
  4. Good track record with delivering growth in both sales and profitability.
  5. Strong connection with end user, consultant, contractor, and potential customers.
  6. Technical aptitude and strong interpersonal communication skills to interact with all levels of engineering and construction personnel.
  7. Ability to work in an independent manner in planning activities, making decisions, and supporting customers.
  8. Well versed with ERP, MS office skills.
  9. Strong market analysis capabilities. Able to understand market drivers, uncover customer needs, and estimate financial opportunity.
